Day 01: Arrive Cochin
Traditional welcome on arrival at Cochin International airport. Transfer to hotel. Relax for the rest of the day or take a walk along the historic colonial streets of Fort Cochin. Watch a Kathakali Show(Traditional art performance of Kerala). Overnight at hotel in Cochin
Kochi (colonial name
Cochin) is a vibrant city situated on the south-west coast of the Indian peninsula in the breathtakingly scenic and prosperous state of Kerala, hailed as '
God's Own Country'. Its strategic importance over the centuries is underlined by the sobriquet Queen of the Arabian Sea. Informally, Cochin is also referred to as the Gateway to Kerala.
Day 02: Cochin
After breakfast proceed for a guided tour of Fort Cochin and the Jew Street in Mattancherry. Visit the synagogue, century’s old churches and palaces, colonial buildings, Chinese fishing net etc. Spend your evening on the near by Fort Cochin beach or ferryacross to Cherai Beach which is half an hour away. Come back to the hotel or visit Ernakulam city for souvenir and other shopping on Mahatma Gandhi road.

Day 03: Cochin - Alleppey (63 Kms, 1.5 hours drive by road) - House boat

After breakfast drive to Alleppey for your premium houseboat stay. The houseboat departs at 12:00.
Alleppey - Washed by the silvery waves of the Arabian Sea, Alleppey, the Venice of the East welcomes you to the backwaters of kerala. The Palm fringed canals and shores bustling with glimpses from the day to day life in the country side, the mirror still lagoons, picture book lakesides and its long sandy beach has blessed Alleppey, the water locked district, to become one of the best Backwater tourism destinations in God's Own Country.
A traditional Kerala lunch is served on board. The houseboat will take you down the lake, backwaters, and canals,past meadows, coconut groves, villages and paddy fields. The boat can be moored and you can walk on the banks,visit a village or relax in a coconut grove. You can relax on a bunk on the deck and watch the changing landscape. The boat is berthed on the banks of the lake at night.
Besides the captain, the boat staff includes an oars man and a cook. If you want to fish ask the captain for fishing rods. The cook will prepare your catch for you.
Day 04: Alleppey(HouseBoat) - Kumarakon
In the morning have your breakfast on board. Reach Kumarakom, checkin at resort. Avail of the facilities at the resort. Enjoy a rejuvenating traditional Kerala Massage. Relish Kerala cuisine. Overnight at the resort.
Kumarakom - When nature is all you need to recuperate, Kumarakom is undoubtedly the most invigorating, fascinating paradise in Kerala, God's own country. The slender coconut palms standing here, there and everywhere, never ending paddy fields, meandering lagoons and backwaters, mangroves nesting birds of a hundred varieties can peacefully calm and invigorate your mind with renewed inspiration for your vocation and life. That is the pristine beauty of Kumarakom.
Day 05: Kumarakom
After breakfast, visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Visit a nearby village, a coir factory, watch rubber tapping, or go to centuries old temples in Kottayam Town. In the evening canoe down the narrow canals. Join the evening sunset cruise. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 06: Kumarakom - Cochin (76 Kms, 1.5 hours drive by road)
Breakfast at resort. Proceed towards Cochin to board your flight for destination ahead.
